Major reform is needed in our State Government to successfully tackle all of the challenging issues facing us today. First, we must elect more honest officials that are dedicated to serving all their constituents and willing to push for true ethics reform. Your government should always work in public and not behind closed doors. There must be full disclosure of all outside business conducted by our Legislators, and we must also rewrite our campaign finance laws that currently give political access only to those who can afford it. And it means we must have fair and independent redistricting policies that keep legislators from choosing their voters instead of the voters choosing their representatives.
