Madalin Hotel

BACK

Welcome to the Madalin Hotel, a beautifully restored historic landmark in the heart of Tivoli NY on the beautiful Hudson River. A success with weekenders, vacationers, Bard College visitors and others—even Mikhail Baryshnikov enjoyed a night here.

The hotel, built in 1909, was completely restored by its new owners in 2006, and takes its name from the old name of the Village at the turn of the century, Madalin. Now Tivoli, the village was once comprised of the Village of Madalin and the Village of Tivoli, and Madalin Hotel was, and still is, its heart.

This turn-of-the-century building, with its ornately carved nineteen foot bar, intimate, softly lit dining room, and guest rooms tastefully decorated in antique furnishings, will take you back to a time when life was simpler, the pace was slower, and foods were locally produced.

The Madalin Hotel has 11 rooms, each decorated with period antiques primarily in the Eastlake style. The rooms, while evocative of the past, are hip, crisp and are fully equipped with private bathroom, flat screen TV, phone, wired and wireless internet and air-conditioning. Each room has either a queen or king sized bed. Room rates range from $199-$299 per night and there is a 2-night minimum stay in high season.

Whether you're staying two days, a week, or a long weekend, this treasure in the heart of the Hudson Valley is central to riverfront shopping, fine dining, skiing, hiking or just exploring the many antique shops or relaxing on the wrap-around veranda with a cocktail. Located minutes from Bard College, Rhinebeck, Hudson, the Berkshires and more.
