The Aston Magna Foundation for Music and the Humanities is dedicated to the performance and study of 17th- and 18th-century music.

The Hudson Valley Chamber Music Circle was started in 1950 to bring the best classical musicians of the time to the Hudson Valley to play for appreciative neighbors. The annual summer concert series has been associated with Bard College since 1979.

The Northern Dutchess Symphony Orchestra was formed in 2006 to bring live orchestral music to Northern Dutchess County and the surrounding Hudson Valley area.

In 2011-2012, we will be celebrating our 32st year presenting world-class chamber musicians to enthusiastic audiences in the Mid-Hudson Valley.

Concerts are presented in Rhinebeck at The Church of the Messiah, an 1897 Gothic edifice with superb acoustics.

In May 2003, Dia Art Foundation opened Dia:Beacon, Riggio Galleries, as a museum to house its renowned permanent collection of major works of art from the 1960s to the present.

We are a fully equipped pottery school and community of ceramic artists. Moring Studio is located above the pottery and is where you can see a variety of subjects beautifully depicted in oil, acrylic or watercolor.

The Dutchess County Arts Council was established in 1964 as a private, nonprofit arts service organization to promote and coordinate cultural activity and development in Dutchess County.

The Lehman Loeb Art Center's collections chart the history of art from antiquity to the present and comprise over 17,000 works, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, textiles, and glass and ceramic wares.

The WBG offers a variety of classes in the arts and is steward of the Byrdcliffe Arts Colony.

The Hudson Opera House offers a year-round schedule of arts and cultural programming in the 1855 former Hudson City Hall which contains New York State's oldest surviving theatre.

Today, the Ulster Performing Arts Center's historic Broadway Theater has emerged once again as a premier performing arts venue of the Hudson Valley.

Tangent Arts, a theatrical company founded by Dutchess County natives Andrea and Michael Rhodes and Keith Teller, has re-located from off-off-Broadway in New York City to the Carpenter's Shop Theater in Tivoli.
